Questions shippers actually ask.

If yours is not here, call dispatch at (734) 320-9626. It is answered 24 hours a day and nobody is going to put you through a menu.

How do I get a quote, and does it cost anything?

Quotes are free and there is no obligation. Call dispatch at (734) 320-9626, which is answered 24 hours a day, or send the details through the quote form. Calling is faster if you are in a hurry.

What information do you need to quote a load?

Pickup city and state, delivery city and state, weight, piece and pallet count, a plain description of what the freight is, and when it is ready versus when it has to be there. If anything is unusual about the docks at either end, mention that too. Do not have all of it? Send what you have and we will ask for the rest.

Do you really run all 48 states?

Yes. All 48 continental states, coast to coast. Alaska and Hawaii are the two we do not run, because neither is reachable by truck from Michigan. See the coverage map.

How fast can you get a truck to my dock?

In southeast Michigan it is often the same day, because we are based in Ypsilanti right on I-94. Farther out it depends on where the closest available truck is when you call. You will get a yes or a no in a couple of minutes rather than a maybe that turns into a no later.

What is the difference between expedited and hot shot?

They overlap. Expedited means the freight goes direct with no terminal stops, because the deadline is the priority. Hot shot usually means a smaller, urgent load that gets its own truck rather than waiting for a trailer to fill. A load can easily be both.

Do you take one time shipments, or only contracts?

Both. Whether you need a one time shipment or a reliable long term logistics partner, we are ready to serve you. Most of our dedicated lanes started as a single load that went well.

Will I get updates while my freight is moving?

Yes. You get told when the load is picked up and rolling, and if something changes on the road you hear it from us first rather than from your customer. Going quiet when there is a problem is the one thing that actually loses a shipper.

Do you work with freight brokers?

Yes. Call dispatch and ask for the carrier packet and we will send back what you need to get us set up in your system.

What happens if my pickup or delivery has appointment times?

Tell us the windows up front and we will plan around them. Appointment freight is normal work. What causes problems is finding out about a two hour receiving window after the truck is dispatched, so front load that information and everything gets easier.

Do you run nights and weekends?

Dispatch is answered 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Freight does not only break down on Tuesday morning, and a time critical load that has to wait until Monday for somebody to answer the phone is not time critical service.

How do I get proof of delivery?

Signed delivery paperwork comes back to you after the load is off. If your customer needs it immediately, say so at pickup and we will make sure it moves as soon as the driver has it.

Where are you based, and does that matter to me?

Ypsilanti, Michigan, directly on I-94 with US-23 a few minutes west. It matters in two ways. Local freight gets picked up quickly because we are already here. And outbound freight is on a major corridor within minutes instead of crawling to one first.

Can you handle oversized, temperature controlled or hazardous freight?

Describe the freight honestly when you call and we will tell you honestly whether we are the right truck for it. Those categories carry their own equipment and regulatory requirements, and a carrier who says yes to absolutely everything is telling you something about how the rest of the job will go.

Do you cross into Canada or Mexico?

We run the 48 continental states. If your freight crosses a border, tell dispatch up front and we will tell you exactly which portion of the move we can handle.

Ready to move your freight?

Still have a question?

Call dispatch and ask. It costs nothing and it takes about two minutes.
